I’m Lisa Summerscales.

I’m originally from Bradford and now live in Leeds with my husband, Nick. I’m a lifelong hockey player, and a recent golf convert.

I’ve worked in marketing and communications since leaving university over 20 years ago and became Chartered with the CIM not long after. I’ve worked in large corporations, rising to executive positions and holding responsibility for marketing and communications departments. I’ve managed teams of talented individuals and collaborated on major projects for global brands like Unilever and Johnson & Johnson.

After watching businesses waste time and money on websites and rebrands that looked nice but didn’t deliver, I decided to do things differently. I set up McLaren&Co. to help businesses get it right the first time, starting with the structure and strategy that makes everything work better.

Now, I partner directly with clients to bring clarity, direction and purpose to their brand and website. I ask the right questions, find the right people, and manage everything so the end result actually works – for you and your audience.

My maiden name is McLaren. People still call me Mac or Macca, and I’ve always liked how this word looks when written.
